Business need: A leading automobile company, running the largest network of spare parts and after sales services, wanted to outsource all its logistics and distribution, so that it could concentrate on its automotive business.
Solution: D P Logistics offered the client an integrated end to end solution that covered the importing of spare parts, their clearance, and transport to a dedicated warehouse. D P Logistics also handled sorting of the inventory, stickering and labeling, packaging, and eventual distribution to the client’s customers. D P Logistics raised invoices on behalf of the client at the distribution point, and collected and transferred sales monies as well. The entire distribution network from import to sales was managed by D P Logistics, with complete transparency available to the client at all times.
